  3.      Selections from this menu require that you know how to type more than
  4. just the alphabet.  The pre-defined drills selected will include Capital let-
  5. ters, numbers, and special characters & symbols.
  6.  
  7.  
  8.      The EASY Sentences selection (F2) contain mostly Capital and lower-case
  9. letters.  You don't have to worry about numbers until you get to HARD
  10. Sentences and Short Paragraphs (F3 & F4).
  11.

  13.      The exercise format is identical to the pre-defined exercises selected
  14. from the Beginner Exercises Menu (3); that is, you must type the character
  15. pointed to by the cursor.  Keyboard aids from Menu 5 are still available to
  16. you for assistance.

  19.      When you select SHORT Paragraphs (F4) you will notice that the text panel
  20. will display three (3) lines for you to type instead of two as in other ex-
  21. ercises.  The length in characters of these exercises is about 120.

  27.      You must SUCCESSFULLY type ALL of the characters displayed in the text
  28. panel.  Keystroke errors (red X) will be flashed and the cursor will stay
  29. positioned under the character that it is waiting for you to type.  It will
  30. not advance until you have pressed the correct key.

  34.           < F2 >  EASY Sentences
  35.  
  36.      These drills consist of complex words and phrases.  Capital and upper
  37. case letters are used. You will not have to type numbers yet.

  41.  
  42.      These drills contain Capital and lower-case letters, numbers and
  43. symbols. Use the keyboard aids (Menu #5) if you need guidance typing.

  51.           < F4 >  SHORT Paragraphs

  53.      These drills consist of small paragraphs made up of several sentences
  54. or one long sentence.  Included are capital letters, numbers, symbols and
  55. punctuation. You have to type three lines instead of two. If you're already a
  56. speedy typist, these drills will tend to slow you down.

  59.           < F5 > Delayed Keyboard Prompting

  61.      This function key will turn the delayed screen keyboard prompting feature
  62. ON  or  OFF,  for any exercises selected from this menu or the Beginner Exer-
  63. cises Menu. It has no effect on drills selected from Menu #2.

  78.      Pressing this function key will cause the Main Menu to be displayed.
  79. Any exercise selected from this menu will remain in effect until reset else-
  80. where.
